On Sunday, April 6th, from 11am to 3pm, the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA is holding a low-cost Rabies Vaccine & Microchip Clinic. Pet owners can have their pet(s) vaccinated at the SPCA for just $10.00 per pet, $25 for a Microchip and just $30 for both a Mircochip and a Rabies Vaccine! Flea and tick preventative will also be available for purchase.

Human Orientation is required to attend our Dog Life Skills Class. Orientation is intended to teach about the nature of dogs, and improve understanding of the dog/human relationship. We will include a brief overview of clicker training and what students can expect when they join the class.

Join the Amanda Benford Cure for Canine Cancer fund on Saturday, April 12th from 9:30-11am for coffee and a presentation by Dr. Shila Nordone at Old Metropolitan Hall on the Downtown Mall about the AKC Canine Health Foundation's efforts to fund research that supports both human and canine health.

Join us on Saturday, May 31st for a K-9 2.5K to support the animals and lifesaving programs of the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA. The walk and festival is sure to delight both 2-legged and 4-legged fun-seekers alike. The walk will begin at Lee Park and wind through Charlottesville’s historic downtown mall neighborhood before returning to Lee Park
