The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA is celebrating National Pit Bull Awareness Day on October 28th with a “Pit Bulls & Pumpkins” weekend adoption special. From Friday, October 27th through Sunday, October 29th, we will be waiving adoption fees for all adult pit bull mixes!
With this event, we hope to not only find loving homes for the pit bulls in our care, but also combat the existing perceptions and stereotypes that this breed faces. Bully breeds can be misunderstood, but they can also make wonderful companions and family pets. CASPCA encourages anyone interested in fostering or adopting to visit the shelter and learn about the big personalities of the pitties in our care!
