Youth Programs

The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA offers engaging youth programming designed to inspire compassion and responsibility towards animals. Our birthday parties provide junior animal lovers, ages 5 and older, with a fun and educational way to celebrate their special day. We also host educational field trips for students of all ages, featuring shelter tours and hands-on activities. For those aged 14 and older, individual volunteer opportunities are available, allowing youth to contribute to our mission while gaining valuable experience. Through these programs, we aim to cultivate a sense of empathy and stewardship in the next generation of animal advocates.
