Take a CASPCA dog out for the day!

Through our Fido Field Trip program (FFT), you’re able to take an adoptable dog out on the town for a hike, pup-cup, at home TLC, or whatever adventure you’re dreaming of! You get a day full of doggie-lovin’ and fido gets a much needed opportunity to destress. Signing up is easy! About the Program

The CASPCA’s Fido Field Trip program is open to anyone 18 years of age and older. Children may accompany adults on Fido Field Trips while directly supervised. We ask for a suggested donation of $5-$10 at pickup per field trip to keep the FFT program up and running. 


In order to be eligible for FFT, volunteers must:

  • Review the Fido Field Trip slide deck below.
  • Receive safety instructions from staff upon pick-up
  • Sign our Volunteer Liability Waiver and FFT Agreement


Staff will work to match you up with a furry friend that will be well-suited to the activity you have in mind! However, we may not be able to accommodate requests to take out specific dogs for the day due to various factors. Extreme weather conditions or other events may also mean that we have to reschedule your field trip.
