Bring Joy This Season with CASPCA’s Giving Tree Initiative

The holidays are a season of giving, and what better way to spread cheer than by supporting the animals in our community? The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA is excited to share our Giving Tree initiative, an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of homeless pets while celebrating the holiday spirit.

This year, the Giving Trees are spreading joy far and wide! We’re excited to be partnering with businesses across Charlottesville and beyond. You can find trees at:



• The CASPCA Shelter on Berkmar Drive
• The SPCA Rummage Store
• Sir Speedy of Charlottesville
• Bar Botanical in Crozet
• Pet Supplies Plus in Charlottesville
• Chestnut Oak Vineyard in Barboursville

How It Works

Each tree is decorated with ornaments featuring either:

• A wish list item our shelter animals need 
• A donation amount tied to a specific need, such as medical care or pet care items

When you choose an ornament and make your donation, you’ll help us provide life-saving care to the animals who depend on us. Plus, if you bring your donation directly to the shelter, you’ll receive a small gift certificate to our SPCA Rummage Store as a token of our appreciation!

Here’s what to expect at each location:

• Shelter, Rummage Store, and Sir Speedy Trees: A mix of wish list items and donation ornaments.
• Bar Botanical & Chestnut Oak Vineyard Trees: Monetary donation ornaments.
• Pet Supplies Plus Tree: Wish list items only.
