Celebrate your birthday at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA! Enjoy a fun, hands-on animal experience while enjoying a special day with your friends.
Our staff and volunteers will make your birthday bash as memorable as possible with a shelter tour, fun games and real “party animals.” Everyone at the party will get a chance to meet and learn about some of our exceptional shelter animals.
What’s Included:
- Exclusive use of our party room
- Set up and clean up by the SPCA
- Provision of all the party necessities: decorations and party favors
- A group orientation and shelter tour
- A safe, supervised opportunity to interact with an animal
- An autograph dog signed by all attendees for the birthday child
You Provide:
- The food and cake
- Drinks
- Paper goods (plates, utensils, napkins and cups)
Who To Invite:
Children aged 5-13 years old
Available on select Saturdays and Sundays, we offer two party times:
1:00 – 2:30 p.m. or 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
The cost is $150 and includes party favors, decorations, set-up/break down, and a party administrator. Facilities offer a private entrance, large open classroom and your own kitchen and restrooms. There is a limit of 17 children with at least 2 adults in attendance.
Please schedule well in advance to get the time/date of your choice, space fills up quickly. To reserve your party, please submit the birthday party contract. If you have any questions, please email our Humane Education Coordinator.
