Save Money and Lives at the Super Adopt-a-thon at the Ruckersville Walmart!

On Saturday, June 2nd not only can you save money at the Ruckersville Walmart, you can save lives. Taking a cue from one of the largest retailers in America, the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA and the Madison-Greene Humane Society are joining forces and “Rolling Back” adoption fees for a super adopt-a-thon at the Ruckersville Walmart. Between 11AM and 3PM, cats, dogs and kittens will be available for adoption in front of the Ruckersville Walmart. Nestlé will have give-a-ways including pet food samples, puzzles, coloring books and more. At the event, a lifetime of priceless love and companionship can be adopted at the hugely reduced rate of $10 for adult cats, $40 for dogs and $75 for kittens.

“On Saturday, you can save money with our discounted adoption fees and feel good knowing you’ve saved a life,” says Lisa Lane, Marketing and Communication Specialist of the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA. The mission of the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for the lost, abandoned, and homeless animals of the City of Charlottesville and the County of Albemarle and to increase the number of these animals being placed in appropriate, loving, and permanent homes through adoptions, foster care, and outreach, and to set a standard of excellence and leadership in shelter animal care, humane education, and progressive animal welfare programs.
