George Robert, Home at Last…

Do you remember George Robert – the miracle pup with a broken jaw, who was revived by SPCA clinic staff after he stopped breathing. Read more here.

Well George Robert (aka Georgie) is now doing great, with his jaw fixed and working like normal. And that is definitely a good thing, because Georgie will be eating fine cuisine now as his dad, is Rapture – Chef, Chris Humphrey, and his new mom, Sarah Humphrey.

How did this love connection happen? Well, George was hanging out with his foster dad, Ric Barrick, while having lunch at Rapture. You see Ric, together with his partner Steve, fostered George for over a month while he recovered from his extensive surgery. Sarah, who also works at Rapture, spotted George immediately. George turned on the charm, and Sarah was sold. After Chris finished cooking for the lunch crowd, he came over to meet George. It was definitely a family love connection. Georgie had found his new home.

Sarah’s recent report on how George is doing:  ”George is the most perfect puppy ever.  We’re all having a ball!”

So when you are thinking about where to go to lunch, stop by Rapture and tell Sarah and Chris — thank you for giving George a new life in a loving home. When you consider all that George went thru and his incredible spirit and will to live, he certainly deserves it. Go Georgie!!!!

Check out the trailer for Georgie’s upcoming film, Look whose talking Now, where you can hear George’s interesting vocalizations.

  1. This is the most wonderful story. What’s even more wonderful is that it isn’t really unique, considering that CASPCA works these miracles on a fairly regular basis. I’m so happy for Georgie! : ))))
