Intake
The day begins with the registration and intake of the humanely trapped ferals.

Anesthesia
The vet tech/anesthetists suiting up for battle.

Getting into position...

The anesthetists insert this divider into the trap to gently
"squish" the cat into a very small space in order
to allow as little wiggle room as possible for the shot.

Antibiotics and Ear Clip
Clipping the ear tip is a visual indicator that the cat
has been fixed if they should be trapped again.

Pre Op
Obviously this looks completely horrible, like some kind of medieval torture
device. It's a spay board. The cat is completely oblivious,
peacefully dreaming of ...whatever... while being prepped for the O.R.

Snug as a bug while waiting her turn.

O.R.
The surgical team preparing for the day's work.

Under the knife. Snip, snip. It's all over.

Recovery Room
These recovery spots are lined with heating pads. Their body temperature
averages 5-6 degrees below normal after surgery.

Spayed female.

Recovery Room is filling up.

Recovery Room staff carefully monitoring the cats
post-op condition and temperature.
